National CPC Overview
Before applying for an operator’s licence to work in the UK or abroad, the intended road haulage operator must first obtain a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Wiseknight Training is an approved centre for CPC examinations for which OCR is the awarding body. Together we can guarantee an informative course that will significantly improve your skills and widen your experience, giving you the advantage in the Logistics industry.
The course we provide is for a maximum of 10 people at any time, as it needs to be taught in small groups due to the intensity of the course you would be undertaking. This works to your advantage as it allows for your questions to be answered thoroughly, whilst receiving expert tuition from our team.
If you are already an operator in the UK carrying goods for other people, or an employer, the operator must hold a Certificate of Competence in Road – National freight. If this is over 10 years old, it would be worth doing a refresher course to keep your knowledge base up to date.
The course breaks down into three modules for the national freight [Modules 1, 2 & 4.] This course is also equivalent to a Level 3 NVQ.
